Patriots pen essay

Authors note: I wrote this about about who i'm proud of my contary.

Are you proud of your country? Yes, because of all the hard work that we did. Plus all the big wars that we won with our army. I’m proud of the navy, air force, navy seals, and every branch of the army. They have been fighting scene the Christopher Columbus came over really. But what I like the most is what fighting for. It’s not for barging rights but or just the pride of winning, it’s for freedom or rights or something that can benefit our country in some way. This is why I’m proud of my contrary.

The one thing that stands out in my mind is the army. If we didn’t have the army around the world fighting for us we couldn’t do what we are doing now in our contrary. Like going to church or having different beliefs or going to stores. We couldn’t do a lot of things that we can now if we didn’t have our army across the world defending us. I don’t know if we would even be alive.

Another thing that I’m proud of is our government. I don’t know too much about the government but I know that it’s pretty good not the best but it’s good. If we didn’t have any government we would probably fall apart as a contrary. If we didn’t have any government we wouldn’t have the tropes over sees like we do now.

One of the last things that comes to mind is the fire fighters and the police men and woman. Think of it like a tree. The government is that one thing in the center that all the branches grow off of. The army is the branches and the leaves but the fire fighters and the police men are the rotes. You can’t see them but they make a huge impact. Without the rotes the tree couldn’t survive. Or stay up when the wind blew.

Those are some reasons that I’m proud of my contrary. I bet every person that lives in the U.S.A is proud. Who would live in a contrary that they are not proud of? I don’t know but those are some reasons that I’m prond.

School laptops : good and bad

Authors note: i wrote about the school laptop. How they are good and how they are bad. I also wrote some thing that could be changed about the laptops. Hope you like it.

Us 7^th graders now have laptops. There are some good things and some bad things about that. I think at this point there are more bad things than good about the laptops. Sometimes it’s really frustrating when your laptop freezes or shuts down on you. But I like it when you get to work with technology and learn new things. I think there could be some changes made to how the laptops were made.

So the first thing I think, the technology people could have done for this school is get a lot more bandwidth. Bandwidth is how many people can be use the internet or one program at one time. And if you don’t have enough bandwidth your computer goes slow or freezes up. There are about 1000 students and teachers or more, that are running on the same bandwidth.

Another thing I think the technology people could of done is put all the grades on separate networks. Or get better computers. That would solve two of our safety issues and I think more bandwidth comes with better computers. The first safety issue is the rotating screen. I personally think it’s a lot easier to break the screen. But the second thing is we should get computers without cameras. Because all the teachers say we can’t use them unless we are doing it for a project. There’s nothing wrong with that but I think it’s very tempting for us to just use it for fun reasons.

Another thing I think should be a rule is u can’t take the laptops home. Because that’s how it either gets stolen or broken. And when more than one laptop gets broken it take at least two days more than it should. Then you back up on your work and then it just gets all screwed up from there.
